The Marching Musical Storm

The Lincoln University "Marching Musical Storm" Marching Band is known as one of the finest collegiate marching bands in the nation. The "Marching Muscial Storm" first appeared on the campus of Lincoln University in 1948.

The band is full of entertainment; with an electric approach to drill and show design.  Not two half time shows are ever the same and  the music runs the gamut from the standard marches to show tunes, Rhythm and Blues, Rap and Jazz.

The band has become known for its solid marching and creative musical arrangements from the pens of an impressive stable of writers.  The one hundred and twenty-five member band is made up of students representing all majors throughout the university.

The members of the "Marching Musical Storm" perform at all Lincoln home football games as well as selected away games and competitions.  Our band strives to bring the finest in the half-time performance to its viewing audiences.

THE PURE SILK FLAG CORP

The Pure Silk Flag Corp has been recognized as one of the most exciting auxiliary units in the midwest.  Pure Silk is known for its blending of traditional flag techniques with innovative choreography to create highly entertaining presentations.

THE BLUE FLAME DANCERS

The nationally famous Blue Flame Dancers consist of eight to fourteen selected young ladies who exemplify exceptional dance skills, poise and class.  Our dancers are featured performers in all engagements of the  "Marching Musical Storm" Band and occasionally perform as a solo act.
