Health Requirements

  1. Completed Medical Health History: A medical history form must be on file in the Student Health Services Office prior to the student’s registration.
     
  2. Immunizations: The following immunizations (vaccinations) are required: Two (2) doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) - 1st dose at age 12 - 15 months or later; 2nd dose at age 4 - 6 or older. Not required for students born before 1956.  If records are not available, medical confirmation that the student had the disease(s) or a titer, blood test, showing immunity to measles, mumps and rubella will be accepted.
     
  3. Meningococcal Vaccination: Students residing in on-campus housing are required by state law to receive the meningococcal vaccine or sign a waiver refusing the vaccination. The Student Health Center will maintain records on each student’s vaccination status that reside in on-campus housing.
     
  4. Continuing Education/Dual Credit Students: If student is not required to be on campus nor interact with the general campus population, the health requirements can be waived (i.e., Fort Leonard Wood Campus, Dual Credit High School Students.)
   V.  Lincoln University requires all registered students taking 12 or more credit hours be enrolled in the Lincoln University Student Insurance Plan unless proof of comparable coverage is provided.  All registered International Students taking credit hours must be enrolled in the plan.  For further information, please visit Student Insurance Plan page.
