| Description: | The Resident Director is a 12-month full-time, live-in position in the residence hall. This is an entry-level position reporting to the Director of Housing. Major responsibilities include: supervision of 100-140 students, development of community among residents, supervision of the desk manager, night watchman and resident advisors, creation and implementation of educational and social programming, enforcement of college policies, crisis intervention, conflict mediation and overall facility management.
