| Description: | Full Time Research Technician needed to assist LU Faculty Member in conduct of federally funded research project. This position is contingent on continued funding past October 31, 2009. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with conducting research, collecting and managing data. This position will require a flexible schedule as work hours will change in accord with research requirements. Weekend work required periodically. Position is available immediately and will remain open until filled by qualified candidate.

| Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in a physical science (agriculture, geology, physics, or engineering) with a strong emphasis on scientific methodology. Competency in Microsoft Office required. Course work or experience in research design and statistics desired. Ability to work to a deadline required. Strong evidence of good interpersonal and organizational skills highly preferred. |
